- Benvolio and Mercutio are trying to find Romeo and they both think he is with Rosaline. Romeo is hiding because he doesn't want them to see him.

- "Oh Juliet you are my love."
- Romeo is in Juliet'sbackyard and talking to her about how much he loves.Juliet is also confessing how much she loves him but is worried because he is a Montague. They fall so much in love in one night.

- "May God forgive you if you’ve sinned!—Were you with Rosaline?"
- "With Rosaline, father? No, I have forgotten that girl and all the sadness she brought me."
- When Romeo arriuve's home friar lawrence thinks he was out with Rosaline but Romeo tell hims he was with Juliet which was a Capulet.Friar Lawrence listens to what Romeo says about his love and will set up their wedding in the Church. He also thinks the wedding will stop the fighting between the Capulets and Montagues.

- "Nurse, he’s a man who likes to hear the sound of his own voice. He says more in one minute than he does in a whole month".
- "Please tell me, sir, who was that foulmouthed punk who was so full of crude jokes?"
- Benvolio and Mercutio think that Romeo is with Rosaline but hes not. Then the nurse walks in and the Mercutio is mean to her calling her ugly and is misleading about her. The nurse then talks to Romeo about Marrying Juliet.

- Friar Lawrence is willing to marry Romeo and Juliet.He thinks this will stop the fighting between the Montagues and the Capulets.
