- The narrator is in the living room. He liked the old man, but did not like his right eye.

- The narrator gets scared, annoyed, disgusted by the old man's vulture, blue, pail eye. The narrator wants the old mans eye to be gone.
- Falling Action
- The narrator watches him for 8 nights. He is waiting for the vulture eye to close. The narrator is waiting for the old man's eye's to close, so he can kill the old man.
- Resolution
- It was me, I was the one that killed the old man! His body is under the plank! I killed him, I cut him in pieces and put him under the plank!
- the narrator is suffocating the old man. after suffocating the old man he is gonna chop him up and put him under the plank.
- The cops come because the neighbors herd screams when the narrator killed him (they don't know). So the cops start searching the whole house.
- The narrator hears a heart beating. It gets louder, louder, and louder. He gets mad and annoyed. It got so loud for him that he confessed of the murder.
