- Maya comes to america with her family, Kazahsitan is getting harder and harder to live in, so they move to america with some help from her aunt.
- Maya was playing with a merican boy outside of school, her dad saw her and confronted him and now her parents are mad at her. her mom injured herself and now Maya has to be independent and hlep out the family herself.
- Maya gets a paper for the spring dance, she wants to go but doesnt think her parents will let her go to the spring dance, she desperatly wants to go so she asks her little brother for help but doesnt know what to do.
- Maya is called to the office, her little brother got in a fight in school and had to miss a gymatics meet cause of him, she defends her brother but she is mad at him for making her miss a gymantics meet.
