- The Russo-Japanese War was two countries fighting over land in Korea and Manchuria. It was fought mostly near Japan, for example, the Yellow Sea or the Korean Peninsula. At the end of the war, Japan had defeated Russia, claiming power over Korea. And becoming the first Asian power to defeat a European power.
- RUSSO-JAPANESE WAR1904-1905
- Germany had attacked Russia on their Westside. Moscow is the closest to the West. The Germans had attacked Russian because of their alliance with France, Germany's target. Russia had an embarrassing defeat with their supplies low from multiple attacks. But in 1918, Russia decided to drop out of WW1, focusing on making their state communist.

- When the Russian Civil War happened, people were divided into two groups called The Red Army and The White Army. The Red was communist but the White was anti-communist. But in the end, The Red Army won because the White Army wasn't well coordinated by their leaders, which made                  attacks that were badly coordinated.
