Storyboard Text

  • Act 4, Scene 1
  • Upon condition Publius shall not live,Who is your sister’s son, Mark Antony.
  • Your brother too must die. Consent you, Lepidus?
  • Act 4, Scene 1
  • And now, Octavius, Listen great things. Brutus and Cassius Are levying powers. We must straight make head.Therefore let our alliance be combined,
  • Act 4, Scene 2
  • Most noble brother, you have done me wrong.
  • Judge me, you gods! Wrong I mine enemies?And if not so, how should I wrong a brother?
  • Antony, Octavius, and Lepidus were discussing who they shall kill. They decide that if Lepidus's brother dies then Marc Antony's nephew. Once Lepidus leaves Antony and Octavius talk about whether is a good idea to include him as one of the three rulers of Rome. Antony is skeptical of Lepidus but Octavius trusts him.
  • Act 4, Scene 3
  • Urge me no more, I shall forget myself.Have mind upon your health, tempt me no further.
  • Antony then brings to light that Brutus and Cassius are preparing an army and that they need to be stopped before they take over power.
  • Act 4, Scene 3
  • That by proscription and bills of outlawry,Octavius, Antony, and LepidusHave put to death an hundred senators.
  • Lucillius warned Brutus that Cassius was unhappy with Brutus. Then Cassius arrived and told Brutus himself. Brutus says there is no way he could have done Cassius wrong and asked him to continue the discussion in private.
  • Act 4, Scene 3
  • Art thou some god, some angel, or some devilThat makest my blood cold and my hair to stare?320Speak to me what thou art.
  • The both of them get into a heated argument about wrongdoings and Cassius threatens Brutus. Cassius then tells Brutus to kill him with a dagger just like what he did to Caesar. Brutus tells him to put the knife away and that the both of them were just frustrated and that he was going through a hard time because Portia killed herself. They forgave each other.
  • Away, slight man!
  • Messala and Titinuis arrive and tell Brutus and Cassius of the mass killings the Triumvirate has ordered on the Senate. Brutus and Cassius agree to march to Philippi to face them.
  • When Brutus is the only one awake while the rest are sleeping, the ghost of Caesar appears to him and tells him that Brutus will see him at Philippi.
  • To tell thee thou shalt see me at Philippi.
  • Thy evil spirit, Brutus
