  • We have no choice! Your forces have overpowered ours!
  • We surrender!
  • Why would you want to do that!
  • US, UK, France
  • Germany will destroy us both if we don't work together!
  • We need to work together!
  • Okay, but after the war you are going to get it!
  • Why is that?
  • We don't know if Japan will ever surender. We can't take the risk.
  • But sir! We are about to win the war!
  • Drop the bomb on Hiroshima.
  • On May 7th, 1945, German unconditionally surrendered, signing a cease fire. They did this because the had no choice at this point in the war. Hitler had become reckless and he ended up overpowered. Germany actually surrendered twice in in World War II.
  • Japan still hasn't surrender...

  • The US and the Soviet Union teamed together in the Second World War because they had to work as one in order to match the firepower of Germany. While both parties were not fond of each other, they still maintained a alliance throughout the war. 
  • Harry Truman dropped the bomb on Hiroshima to bring a speedy end to the war. While it was true that the US was about to win anyways, there would still be casualties that would come with an invasion. So instead of attacking Japan with a army to finish them off, they showed them the power of the atomic bomb.

  • The Japanese surrender because of the overwhelming power of the atomic bomb. The two bombings were devastating events that killed over 110,000 people. The bombings were launched by the US, and was designed to put a speedy end to the bloodshed in the war.
  • The Manhattan Project was the research and development of the Atomic Bomb, the weapon that would eventually put a quick end the World War II. The dead of the Manhattan project was a man named Robert Oppenheimer.
