- We'd like to.
- This is Sr Walter Raigh sending people to go to America.
- Okay. You will be off in the morning.
- The colonists left and a few months later they arrived in Roanoke in America. Their leader was John White.
- Land!!!!
- Congrats! Your baby is the first English baby born in America!
- Virginia Dare was the first English baby born in America.
- Wow. Oh, my!
- Sir, we are running long on food.
- After being in Roanoke for a few weeks or so, John White needs return to England to gather more supplies, but he doesn't want to leave the new baby, Virginia Dare.
- Um. . .I don't want to leave, Virginia.
- Okay. But you all need to work and stay safe. I'll return as soon as I can.
- Yeah, go. We'll take care of them. We'll all be here when you return.
- So, John White leaves for England. And when he returns. . .
- It's truly okay. We'll be fine. We need supplies. Go.
- John White couldn't return for 3 years (he had to help in the war.) When he did come back, everyone was gone, only a "CROATOAN" carved into the post. DUN! DUN! DUN!
