- Do you think because we are black they will shoot us?What are they going to do to us? Do you think because we are black they will shoot us?

- It will be ok. I am so sorry honey. We are here for you.
- It all started when Starr and her best friends were at a pary and then they went home because people were getting in fights. Her friends Khalil drove her home.
- Please put the cop that shot Khalil in jail.
- We will see what we can do.
- On the way home they got pulled over. Khalil did not like being pulled over because he was black. Starr thaught that Khalil got pulled over for doing something bad. Once the cop comes to the window Khalil did not take it seriously.
- Khalil gets asked to get out of the vehicle and then the cop goes back to the car. When he goes back to the cop car, Khalil opens the door to see if Starr is okay. There was a hairbrush that moved in the door and the cop thaught it was a gun so he shot Khalil.
- Justtice for Khalil!! Justice for Khalil!
- After the shooting starr goes to the court with her family and they try to get the cop that shot Khalil to go to jail. They are thinking becuase they are black they will have issues
- At school Starr is the only black person in her class so it makes it hard for her to talk about it. She is so scared that she will get made fun of for being the whitness so she does not tell anybody.
- Starrs neighborhood is a sketchy place that is dangerous. There are lots of drug dealers that also try to hurt people. There are also lots of people that protest in her neighborhood.
