- ever wondered how baby's are made? i'm going to explain how this happens.
- a woman meets a man they have sex and this is how the baby is made the sperm goes into the egg and then the baby will start develop, im now going to show you more in depth.
- when the man and woman have sex the penis produces sperm which fertilizes the egg. the sperm has to travel from the testicles the goes through the vast deferens and out of the urethra then into the woman.
- once the sperm is released from the penis it then travels through the vagina and its like a race to get to the egg first. the sperm has to travel through the vagina and then into the uterus through the fallopian tubes and then to the egg that was released from the ovaries.
- if one single sperm cell does get to the fallopian tube and to the egg and fertilizes it then the egg will change so no other sperm will get in ,at the instance of fertilization the baby's genes are set. if the sperm is a Y chromozone then your baby will be a boy if the sperm is a X chromozone then your baby will be a girl.
- the sperm then gets to the egg and fertilizes it once the egg is fertilized it starts to brake down to millions of little cells quickly and it slowly moves through the fallopian tubes into the uterus this is called implantation.
- the lining of the uterus thickens and the cervix is sealed by a plug of mucus, it will stay in place until the baby is ready to come out within 3 week the cells begin to grow as clumps and the baby's first nerve cells have been formed.
