- Those are the main characters there are lots of side characters as well.For example Jacobs (Trevors great grand father) friends.

- Trevor loved anything to do with WWII it was just so amazing to him!He did not really care about WWI, WWII had more weapons and machines according to Trevor.
- Moral and lessons learned
- The moral of the story is you can make It does not instruct, nor encourage virtue, nor suggest models of proper human behavior, nor restrain men from doing the things men have always done. If a story seems moral, do not believe it.
- When they visited Fort Benning Trevors great grandfather was amazed at how different everything was, he even said that the soldiers now are having it easy compared to when Jacob was there.
- Where at the airport to go to Paris, to visit Fort Benning!
- They were going to England but later on they were attacked and the ship blew up, luckily there were 2 ships going to England and the other one came to save the survivors of the 2nd ship that blew up by their enemies.
