  • I'm so excited!!!
  • I know, we finally get to watch this movie together!
  • It'll be awesome!
  • Just wait here for a second, guys. I have to grab something from a friend's house.
  • Sure, that's fine.
  • Who wants a cigarette? I have plenty! You both should try it.
  • Cool, count me in!
  • Great! What about your friend?
  • Umm . . .
  • Okay, I think I can do this. I just have to decide if I will take a cigarette. This is a difficult decision, and not because I want to smoke.
  • I could either . . . take a cigarette or refuse one. Or, I could leave the car right now. I think I could ignore the driver altogether, also. But I'm not sure what to do.
  • If I smoke, I put my health at risk. But if I do, I will not create a problem with the driver. If I refuse a cigarette, I cannot become sick or addicted, but I will likely upset him. If I leave the car right now, I will avoid a conflict, but my friends may worry and wonder where I have gone. I could also ignore the driver completely. This would allow me to avoid smoking, but it will not make my problem go away.
