- We kill humans because it is fun, and you will join me tomorrow.

- Rising Action
- Rainsford's yacht drives past Ship Trap Island. Then, all of a sudden, Rainsford hears gun shots coming from the island. He gets up on the railing surrounding the boat to get a better view. As he is looking for the shots he loses his balance and falls into the water.
- Climax
- AHHHHHHHHHHH
- Rainsford meets Ivan and General Zaroff. When they sit down to eat, Zaroff tells Rainsford about his game and tells Rainsford they will be hunting tomorrow. Rainsford says no meaning he will be hunted instead. He makes an assortment of traps that kills Ivan and a dog, but none kill Zaroff.
- Falling Action
- How about we have one last fight. Winner lives, loser dies.
- The hunt begins. Rainsford first runs off and makes a fox trail (a confusing series of foot steps) to hopefully throw Zaroff off course. Then, he hides in a tree. While hiding there he notices Zaroff has seen him and is playing with him. The next morning Rainsford builds an assortment of traps which include a Malay Man Catcher, Burmese Tiger Pit, and a native trick he learned in Uganda (
- Resolution
- Rainsford kills Ivan with his Ugandan trap, but Zaroff still keeps on his tail. Eventually Rainsford gets cornered on a cliff and has to decide to submit to the general or jump into the water below.
- Rainsford trespasses into Zaroff's house without the general knowing. He then sneaks up on him and suprises Zaroff. The Zaroff wants to have one last battle against Rainsford. It would be hand on hand combat due to the fact they have no weapons. If you lose, you would be fed to the dogs though. Rainsford accepts.
- Rainsford had killed Zaroff and decided to wait for the morning before going home. So he decided to sleep in the best bed he had ever slept in.
