- In this role, the President addresses the people of the United States and represents themselves as a symbol of power. This includes congratulatingnational heroes such as the Super Bowl winners. This also includes greeting important visitors into the White House such as government leaders. The President must also make important speeches to the people such as giving the State of the Union Address.
- In this role, the President must command the military leaders of the nation's armed forces. These include the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, and the Space Force. The president is in charge of making major military decisions during wartime such as bombing Japan during WWII. This also includes drafting troops if there is a shortage in members such as what happened during WWII.
- In this role, the President acts in the system of making laws for the United States. The president must make recommendations to Congress to influence them to create bills regarding things he is passionate about. He must also meet with members of Congress to support hispolicies. Finally, he must report about how the government is dealing with issues in the State of the Union Address each January.
