Each year, a female and a male from each district are picked to fight to the death in an arena in the Capitol in memory to the war.Ketniss Everdeen lives in poverty in the twelfth district with her mother and her lovely little sister Primrose. To ensuring survival for her family, Ketniss breaks the laws and hunts in the forest. Mostly she sells the game.

ACT 2: CONFLICT
During the reaping day, Primrose’s name is chosen but Ketniss volunteers for her sister, even though she has to assume that she won’t survive the Hunger Games.The male candidate is Peeta Mellark.

ACT 3: RISING ACTION
After the great entry into the Capitol, the training, assessment by the sponsored and the interview, Ketniss and Peeta are sent into the arena. The fight to the death starts.Ketniss is an outsider but Peeta allies himself with the promising careers from the districts 1 and 2 in the arena.Then Ketniss allies with the youngest tribute Rue from district 11, who dies.

ACT 3: CLIMAX
The organisers had promised that there could be two winners after all, but when Ketniss and Peeta are the last living candidates the organisers try to retract their promise. Therefore Ketniss and Peeta set them under pressure because they rather would die together than kill the other one.

The organiser allow both to win the 74. Hunger Games but have to die for his fault of giving a promise. The cruel president Snow crows Ketniss the winner.

In the end, Ketniss returns home and move with her family house into the villages of winners of the Hunger Games.6
