- School Safety is Important
- Nobody should feel unsafe at school. School is a place to go and learn. The crime rate for schools is very high and is not reducing. School leaders need to focus on children and staffs safety and put in more security measures. With school being a requirement children should not feel like they can not come into school without getting harmed. There are so many issues that schools need to focus on and improve and safety and security measures are a big and an important one. Safety for school will improve so much for children and help with their academic abilities.

- Gun Violence has became a familiar issue across American Schools:
- Gun violence is a big issue, there have been so many cases over the years that led to traumatic deaths and injuries. Adding more safety and security measures to schools will help decrease school shootings. Drills are an example of a security measure, they prepare children and staff for what to do in these horrific situations. These crimes happen so much that we have to do drills In case it is to happen. Shootings should not be a familiar issue.
- Crime can be greatly reduced with proper measures. Having police officers and security can help resolve situations urgently and prevent children from doing those crimes. Children will not want to commit crimes if they know they will get caught or at least have a chance of getting caught.Proper storage for your weapons is a big thing as well that can prevent or cause the shootings. Having guns away in a safe place will prevent children from bringing them to school. If they are not stored in a good and safe place, children will get to them and do criminal activities.

- Kids will feel safer attending school:
- Children and guardians are scared everyday by sending their children to school. They never know what will happen when walking into school and if a shooting will happen or not it is horrifying. With these safety and security measures it will help children feel safer attending school and will help guardians know that their children are safe. Children should not have to be afraid to go to school to learn. Learning new things is important, but it is hard to learn when you are scared to be present.
