  • I want to go home I miss my wife Penelope.
  • Athena, we need to bring back Odysseus from Calypsos island. So go tell Hermes to go to Calypsos island to get Odysseus.
  • I will pass your message on to Hermes.
  • Hermes you need to go to Calypsos island and tell her to release  Odysseus.
  • On my way then.
  • Odysseus is on Calypsos island and want to go back to his home and to be with his wife Penelope.
  • Zeus tells Athena that Odysseus needs to come back, so they will tell Hermes to go to Calypsos island to retrieve him.
  • Okay. "O forlorn man, be still. Here you need grieve no more; you nee not feel you life consumed here; I have pondered it, and i shall help you go."
  • I have brought an order from Zeus that you must not detain Odysseus any longer but send him on his way home.
  • Athena passes Zeus's message to Hermes and now he will go to Calypsos island to release Odysseus.
  • "My lady goddes, here is no cause for anger. My quiet Penelope-how well I know-would seem a shade before your majesty, death and old age being unknown to you, while she must die."
  • "Son of Laertes, versatile Odysseus, after these with me, you still desire your old home?"
  • Hermes is flying to Calypsos island to send a message.
  • Calypsos obeyed Zeus and his order and she will help Odysseus get home.
  • Calypsos is sad and angry that Odysseus has to go home and thinks that the years the spent together mean nothing. Odysseus tell hers that even if Penelope is the a mortal and is going to die that he want's to spend as much time with her as he can.
