- This is ethos because it talks about a hero, Abraham Lincoln. And it applies to people's ethic's on that person that they have. Abraham Lincoln was the only president to stand up to the South.

- "we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands."(King)
- This describes the person's emotion. On this quote it talks about how his kids have to go through all the crap about the color of their skin. And not being judged on their personality's.
- Pathos
- "We can never be satisfied as long as our children are stripped of their selfhood and robbed of their dignity by signs stating “For Whites Only”.(King)
- The quote describes the amount of time that has passed since the emancipation proclamation has passed. And how they have still been trapped for 100 years not being free because of being based on the color of their skin, and being told what to do and where they live.

- This quote describes ethos because it references God. And talks about how one day everyone of different race and religion will one day come together and join hands. He hopes one day this will happen.
- This describes pathos because it talks about how they have stripped of their self hood and been disrespected.They will never be satisfied until they get the rights that they deserve, and not be judged based upon their skin.
- This quote describes logos because of the year 1963 is not and end but a beginning. This talks about how they will have new opportunities to go out and do in the world because this speech he is giving, and the chances they will have,
