  • "It is almost the end of the semester and our paper about an atom is due! Along with that is a visual presentation and I have to speak about it for 3 minutes. I have eight days to prepare and create an awesome project, but how?" thinks Jacobi.Jacobi is a very bright boy when it comes to science, he just doesn't know where to begin!
  • Four Days Until the Due Date! Jacobi starts writing.
  • Don't forget class, the project is due next Monday! 8 days!
  • Ms. Johnson reminds the class of the project due!
  • Sandra takes Jacobi to the school library to help him gather information on his project. Remember, the more information you find, the more help you can get! Sandra also tells Jacobi that taking his time is also important. Don't rush your project!
  • First we need to gather research on the project. The library is the perfect place to do it!
  • A trip to the library
  • Cool! We can use the database to locate biology books!
  • While Sandra and I were at the library yesterday she told me, "Once you get your information, put it in a power point to organize it better." By doing this, it will help me prepare to write my essay to keep it organized, simple, and through. A power point also covers my visual aide! With 6 days left, I'll totally have it ready.
  • Jacobi begins his project! 6 days left!
  • I got all my information from the library. Now, it is time to put it all together!
  • To organize all my information, I am going to create a power point!
  • I have my presentation done and I am ready to start writing my paper! With four days left, I will break it up into 2 days. 3 pages each day!
  • Sandra said "take mental breaks to stay efficient!
  • Jacobi has finished his power point presentation and is ready to start writing his six page paper. Sandra told Jacobi in the library, "Remember to take breaks! Your brain needs full power to get through this!" With Jacobi taking this into thought, he broke down his paper into two days with three pages each day. This way he will stay organized and smooth during writing.
  • Jacobi and Sandra meet at the local park to review their three minute speeches together. Jacobi says to Sandra, "without your tips and help, I probably wouldn't be able to finish this myself! Thanks for the help!" With the final two days, the two friends kept practicing their speeches to make sure they didn't mess up.
  • Final Preparations! Two days left until turn in.
  • Hey Jacobi! Are you ready to practice our 3 minute speech?
  • Hi Sandra! Of course I am. With two days to go I am totally prepared
  • It has been eight whole days since Jacobi started his project and he completed it and turned it in. Ms. Johnson loved his speech and how organized his power point was. "The best tip I received was to take mental breaks, everyone needs them!" said Jacobi to his helpful friend Sandra.
  • Your project was awesome Jacobi!
  • Turn in Day!
  • Everyone's projects were beautiful! Good Job!!
  • Thanks to your help and tips! I loved your speech too!
