  • The french revolution started in 1789 and ended in 1799. this was the time when the commoner of france rose up against the monarchy.

  • The Storming of the Bastille
  • The clergy and the nobles and the peasant.   they didn't agree   and  forced him to hold   the meeting of the estates general to approve the new taxes.

  • Three day later: national assembly found themselves locked out of their meeting room. Broke down a door to an indoor tennis court, pledging to  stay until they had drawn up a new constitution. 
  • People began to gather weapon to defend paris. A mob searching for gunpowder and arms stormed the Bastille, a paris prison  
  • A wave of senseless panic through france where peasants became outlaws themselves.
