- Matthew has killed GIa, but is unaware that Marissa has beared witness, meanwhile he does not notice the other disposed body in the stream.
- OMG
- Matthew is arrested for the murders of both Gia and the woman in the water. Hewill go to court where he will be given no bail.
- You're under arrest!
- During the case, the Gia's attorney presents the evidence to prove Matthew guilty. His fingerprints were found on her skin and the rope, and because he was the only one around, he is also wrongfully charged for a double murder. His verdict is guilty.
- As you can see your honor, Matthew's finger prints were found on Gia, and he was the only capable person present with the unknown body
- Matthew, angry over the verdict, gets a lawyer to help him reverse the wrongful conviction.
- Don't worry Matt, I've gotcha covered
- Sure I killed Gia, but that lady has no evidence to prove I killed the other woman!
- Challenging the previous verdict, Matthew's lawyer tries to have his client's case up for trial again. The woman in the river had tape over her mouth with Matthew's signature on it. Bringing legal documents of her own, the signatures are compared and Matthew loses the appeal.
- Your honor I object, the evidence provided is no invalid and is enough to put away the woman's murderer, Matthew
- Trying again, Matthew and his lawyer take the case to the State Supreme Court. Matthew's lawyer has an autopsy done again on the woman in the river and the DNA of the murderer is found under her nails. Matthew's sentence is reduced and he is only charged with Gia's murder.
- While I'm not sure why the coroners office missed it the first time, I am glad I demanded another autopsy!
