- Mesoamerica stretches from southern Mexico into part of central America and it had a good climate and fertile soil along with highlands and lowlands.

- the Olmec had many pyramids temples and statues of rulers and where the mother culture of Mesoamerica

- the Zapotec built one of the fist major city of mesoamerica, devolped there socity in the Oxaca valley which had great weather, fertile land and rain for farming.

- the mayans developed good agricultural practices, Mayan villages turned in to cites that lead to a class system, and started sacrificing life to the gods
- the aztec built a city called Tenochtitlan that was on two islands, this made trade easy and they made artificial islands as well for farming and had a class system like the mayan
- constant wars and rebellions made the aztec empire unstable. on top of that they had a bad ruler named Moctezuma so when the Spanish arrived some aztec side with Cortes thinking he wold overthrow there ruler instead he destroyed the Aztecs .
