- Once there was a football player named Jordan. Jordan was a right guard for the WestHigh Pats going against the spalding raiders. This game was very big for Jordan and his team.

- During the game Jordan's right leg was cut by another players cleat when he tried to recover a fumble. The cut was really deep on his leg. However, Jordan had to be carried off of the field by the medical staff on a cart and he was on his way to a hospital.

- After eight weeks, Jordan was finally walking again and he was medically cleared to play football again. But before he left the nurse explained that his leg also went through telophase. She says that the chromosomes uncoil and become chromatin's. and the nucleus and the nuclear membrane begin to reform around the chromosomes. And she tells him the final stage his leg went through was called the cytokinesis. She says that in cytokinesis the cytoplasm divides and creates 2 new daughter cells.

- When Jordan gets to the hospital he changes into a gown and the doctors sits him on the bed. When the doctors leave, Jordan worries that he will never play football. When a nurse comes in to check on his leg the nurse tells him about mitosis. The nurse explained that mitosis works in six stages called interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, and cytokinesis.
