- Reaction shot; to show Sam's reaction when the teacher is getting the class's attention. And to show the teacher's#160;expression.Silent background, no noise at all, to represent how everyone's#160;attention is towards the teacher.
- Extreme wide shot to represent how the whole class is focusing#160;on the white board and paying attention.Close up of teacher's face to show her facial expression (anger) and her eye contact (gaze) towards Sam.
- Wipe transition is used to represent a leap in time
- At the very start inpoint editing is used to tell the audience that a new scene is beginning.Extreme closeup of Sam's face when he is shocked#160;to hear that the class is having a test today.
- Mid shot of Sam to express how happy he is when the teacher gives him an extension.Zooms out and fades slowly from the center of Sam and the teacher to conclude the short film.
