- Ah sure was a good day to go fishinglook at all this fish i caught

- Until one day all of his fish and bait was gone!And that was the third time that same week that their fish and bait was gone
- WHERE ARE ALL OF MY FISH AND BAIT!
- It must be from a octopus because of all this slime but not just any octopus it is Muturangi's and the octopus's name is Te Wheke

- Kupe and Muturangi had a agrument about telling Te Wheke to stop eating all of the fish and bait because Kupe's village was starvingbut the reasonn why Muturangi didn't want to agree was because he would have starved instead because Te Wheke can eat a lot
- Tell Te Wheke to stop eating all of our fish and baitour village is starving
- No Te Wheke eats where he likes

- Kupe told his wife what had happened with Muturangi and so the wife (Hine-Te-Aparangi) was understanding and so she said we will take the big waka and so they gathered a crew and set sail to kill Te Wheke Their plan was to bait Te Wheke but Muturangi had already told Te Wheke what Kupe was planning because he wasn't going for the bait

- Kupe went off to find Te Wheke and left his wife and children on a part of Aotearoa and went off to find Te Wheke and to go kill Te Wheke they thought Kupe had died and so they cut themselves with shells and you can see a rock
