- After being dismayed by Sheth’s words, Ramu went to Sheth’s Mansion at night. While Drinking, Sheth saw Ramu approaching him…

- 1. Why are you here instead of being at field?3. Wretch. When did I call you? Lazy Drudge of Lazy Family.5. Now you'll teach me!!
- Sheth started abusing Ramu more and more.

- This made a quarrel between Sheth and Ramu. During this sort of time, Ramu accidentally pushed Sheth in the well. Ramu got frightened and ran away from the village that night. Sheth was saved from drowning by some pedestrians.
- Malgudi bus stop
- Ramu left the village and moved to Malgudi. He disguised himself as an Astrologer. He was praised by the people of Malgudi. One day Sheth reached Malgudi in search of solution of his problems.
- His friend received him from the stop. They decided to meet Astrologer after some tea.
