- Megan is an 18 years old teenage that wanted to escape her abusive family by going west for the Homestead act and her dream was that she wanted to go on an adventure by her self.
- one day she escaped and since then everything was going well but Megan was very nervous because she had never traveled by her self before, and sometimes she felt like someone was following her or looking at her.

- One day she saw a puppy so she followed the puppy and then the puppy disappeared in the bushes and then Mahan notice that she was lost in the woods in the appellation mountains.

- One week later, she sees people and she wonders if they could help her find the way to the west.
- The people let her travel with them they were kind and friendly, they even gaved her food and water and a place to sleep.
- They traveled for almost 3-5 months but they finally made it to the grate plains for her to begin her farm, then they SAID GOD BYE and continued to there destination.
