- Rainsford fell off his yacht because he was looking at where the gunshots were at and his pipe was knocked from his mouth so He lunged for it and realized he had reached too far and had lost his balance which made him fell off the side of it.
- Rainsford tried yelling for help hoping that someone on the yacht would hear him but no one heard him than he remember the gunshots and started swimming to them. Then he found two people and the people they were friendly at first but then he found out that they were hunting people for fun and then started to hunt him .
- Rainsford was being hunted by them but because he has been hunting for as long as he could remember he knows what to do so he made fake paths and made traps they told him that if he wins he could have everything even the house. By the time they found Rainsford he had killed one of them but when he found Rainsford he had a plan. he was on the side of the cliff with water and rock at the bottom of it his plan was to jump off the cliff and sneck into the house and kill him and so he did and the game.
