- The constitutional monarchy is an invention that came from absolutism. Which regulates the amount of power the person in charge has. The purpose of the constitutional monarchy is to make sure the person in charge doesn’t over use their power to the extent that the citizens are unhappy.
- The major events that were part of the absolutism were: The English Civil War, 30 years war, Constuitonal monarchy, scientific Revolution The Enlightenment. The English Civil War was caused due to the argument of the kings’ power economic polices. The 30 years war was an influence of absolutism. The constitutional monarchy is a document that states the rights/power that a king has which is covered by the constitution. The scientific revolution was just an advance in science which one of its effects is the power of absolute monarchs decreased. Lastly, the enlightment was, “A period of time when people developed new ideas about human existence, which includes people’s basic rights the level of control kings should have in power.”
