This city is emitting so much CO2! There are other energy options that are better!
We've been using fossil fuels for a long time though...  What else could we use?
HydroPower! This is just using fast flowing water to spin a turbine, sending electricity through the grids
I mean I guess but does it even work? and how much would it actually help?
Are people currently using this?
It has 90% efficiency as of now, and will cut  emissions way down! The making of parts for the system is the only time CO2 is produced.
It also last a long time.
Nothing is perfect! hydroelectric facilities  still will effect habitats and the environment since more land is needed, along with  dams that will be built. Things will eventually will erode.
Hydropower was the widest utilization of 2019. It accounted for more than 18% of the world's total power generation capacity.
It sounds pretty nice! Are there any downsides?
Is there anyway to fix that?
In the future we may find better materials to use, and also building smaller or less dams and using other renewable energy sources instead could help.
That's true. It's also still better than fracking!
