- We want to help people in Afghanistan, you can’t just leave them on their own to defend against taliban and give them no support or help!!
- I agree when you leave a country as damaged and divided as Afghanistan all by themselves, the Taliban will prosper and grow, only leading to more Terroism in the Middle East and even around the world!

- Humanitarian Aid involves, no military action and with my plan it will support and prosper Afghan villages to decrease the involvement of Taliban forces, we will provide food, water, shelter, educational opportunities and resources to build up destroyed communities.

- My name is Sean Levison, im running for President in 2026 and one of my polices i promise to include is humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan after the withdrawal of troops in 2021
- During the Cold War the United States used policies such as the Berlin Airlift and Marshall Plan to support struggling Western European countries in response to the Soviet Blockade.
- These countries struggled with the same issues as Afghanistan, many people lost their lives, struggled with hunger and had no place to live as their homes had been destroyed by bombs during WWII

- Similarly this was used during Cold War and it was one of the main reasons why the Cold War ended, countries grew stronger as the US supported them with Humanitarian aid and eventually forced communist ideals out.
- Using these same strategies as the US during the Cold War we will be able to help communities in Afghanistan grow and prosper, doing this will push out any influence of the Taliban, as strong stable communities are very hard to infiltrate and control.

- The Berlin Airlift was extremely successful as the United States flew in supplies to help Western European countries
- It also had no military involvement, just like the US had intended, any military would create another War and no one wanted that, so pushing American ideals through Humanitarian aid was extremely successful for the US

- Overall the United States using Humanitarian aid through strategies like the Berlin Airlift, will have success in supporting the Afghan people against the Taliban and other terrorist groups, without direct military intervention
