The target population for this storyboard is older adults aged 65 and above. Many individuals in this population have limited experience with digital health tools, and age-related changes such as reduced vision, cataracts, or slower cognitive processing can make using these tools challenging (World Health Organization, 2024).The specific challenge addressed in this storyboard is small text and low-contrast screens, which can make it difficult for older adults to read information or navigate digital health platforms. These design issues can lead to frustration, mistakes, or even avoidance of technology altogether, limiting access to important health information (Tajudeen et al., 2022). The interface proposed in this storyboard includes several features to improve accessibility and usability for older adults. Users will be able to adjust text size to enlarge fonts for easier reading, and high-contrast color schemes will make buttons and text more visible. The layout will be clear and organized, with larger clickable buttons to simplify navigation. Optional voice assistance will be available to read text aloud for those with more significant vision challenges. In addition, short tutorials or guidance will be provided to help older adults learn how to use these features effectively. By incorporating these accessibility-focused design elements, the interface aims to increase readability, reduce errors, and build confidence, enabling older adults to engage more independently and effectively with their health management tools.
