  • Honestly, George this could be the future! I think we need to give these guys a chance.
  • Later that evening...
  • 5 hours later...
  • Candidly, I'm not sure. I guess we will see.
  • Charles, how do you think our proposition went?
  • 10 hours and 50 miles later...
  • I hope so Frank. I hope so
  • This is going to be a great way to promote our business. People will soon realize the future.
  • Thanksgiving day in Chicago...
  • Frank calm down. As long as we win the race, everything will be alright. I promise. With my ideas and your mechanics, there's no way we can lose.
  • Charles! You fool! You scheduled the day of the race when there is snow everywhere. How can we race like this?
  • I suppose. But we have to prove everyone wrong today by being victorious.
  • Plus who doesn't want a carriage that works through snow?
  • Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and girls! The official Herald-Times horseless carriage race from Chicago to Evanston is commencing. 3, 2, 1 go!
  • The lead is secured. Now I just have to make to the finish line.
  • Yay!
  • In their home in Peoria, later that evening...
  • Victory! Hopefully, people will now understand the future.
  • WELCOME TO EVANSTON
  • Charles and Frank wait! Don't go!
  • In their home in Peoria, later that evening...
  • Oh, today was a phenomenal one. How could it get better?
  • The next day.
  • Now that I have your attention, my name is Henry Ford.
  • Hello. Well, what can we do for you Mr. Ford? Would you like to purchase one of our horseless carriages?
  • Please. Call me Henry. I don't want to purchase one of your carriages but I do want something from you. Today you impressed me. Your work is very similar to my quadracycle.
  • Ok what is it then sir?
  • 1907 in Detroit.
  • I'm working on my new automobile similar to horseless carriages, "cars." And I want you to be a part of it! We could make millions of dollars together, think about it.
  • Hmm... well I have to speak to my business associate.
  • Charles, don't be stupid. Say yes to the man!
  • Wonderful. I'm leaving for Detroit tomorrow. You two must come with.
  • See you then!
  • 100 years later...
  • This is going to be our last night at home for a while. I hope this Ford guy knows what he's doing.
  • Charles, we have to have faith. I believe the man and now we have a chance to make millions. We cannot pass up this opportunity.
  • No I agree. You're right. I guess it's just a big step for our company. I'm going to go upstairs in get packed.
