- This is otto van bismark, He was the leading cause behind the german unifacation. In 1862 he became russias prime minister. He belived prussia could unite Germany. He would give the blood and iron speech . He was in 3 wars. a war with denmark, the austro-prussian war, and the Franco-prussian war. He was the first chacellor. he also had another war with the curch because he tried to limit the powers of the church. That was called the kulturkampth. He tried to destroy socialism. he also gave benefits for health,accidents, old age, and disability. He would be fired but comtiune to buold up germanys power.
