- Jeremy sits down with his mom to have a conversation. He talks about how he is feeling, and how he just wants to know his mom's reasoning for not letting him go. She is about to tell him when...
- Mom. I've been feeling a little upset since you told me I couldn't go over to Bryan's without giving me a reason. I know you're looking out for me, but this is something I've been looking forward to for a long time. I would appreciate if you would tell me why I can't go.
- I know you really wanted to go, and I'm sorry. I didn't mean to not give you the proper reasoning, that's on me. But here's why I don't want you to go.
- Jeremy's brother David comes crashing through the door! He's home from college for the first time in months, and the family is so excited to see him. But they wanted to surprise Jeremy so he had no idea! Needless to say, he understood why His mom didn't want him to go now...
- Mom! Dad! Jeremy! I'm hooome!!!
- Jeremy and his mom agree that they will discuss things more openly in the future, and the whole family sits happily together. Conflict resolved!
- Well I'm so excited that David's home! I still wish you would have talked to me mom. Can we agree to talk more openly next time?
- Of course we can, sweetie. That sounds like a good goal. We should all be more open with each other!
