- Our town was always so peaceful. That was until the korean war started. I never understood why we fought or why we had south and north Korea, but momma explained it best. She always knew this was going to happen but all she told me was to hide and if kidnapped say I was from America. They wouldn't have arrested an American boy would they? Wrong, they will do anything to win.
- People always dressed differently in the streets but when we came back where was the street? Or the buildings? Or where did everyone go? Ever since then I've always had so many questions but the one I want to know most was, where was momma? She would never leave me like that but she did and she never returned Everyone said momma was a crazy lady and wanted to get out of here but could she have been helping the other side. Mabey she liked communism more but i'll never know because she never came back.
- Buildings on fire. cities destroyed all over capitalium. I hope mom is enjoying her time with out me in her communist country she never bothered to write or call or even come home. Was she dead?
