To think that my child, my only child, would be so misused... It felt like vengaence against me.
God forgive us both. And now let's go home so I can read to you from you Telemakia.
I don't blame you.
Don't you think Telemakos deserves the chance to know you?
Artos the High King of Britain, my father, woud always have time for me even when he had Lleu...
Telemakos loves Goewin more than he loves me... that might be because of her personality but...
Should I talk to him, should I keep in silence...
Medraut, Goewin, and Telemakos have just exited Anako's trial and discovered Telemakos suffered a lot when he was in Afar. Medraut blamed Goewin before Telemakos said it was his fault.
I can teach you a new way to hunt animals
Medraut is in the garden when Goewin walks up to him and says again: "I'm so sorry. He said he was alright and...""I don't blame you," said Medraut. Goewin looked surprised. "I'm sorry for what I did to Lleu." "You know you've been forgiven before Medraut," Goewin told him, "I never blamed you; I blamed Morgause. I knew you better than you thought ." "Perhaps," said Medraut..
This feels so weird...
Give Medraut a chance, he is trying.
What happened, Telemakos?
Medraut is in his room thinkng. Telemakos always wanted to spend more time with him... but what if he didn't like who his father really was, or what he had done. Yes, he worried that Goewin was more precious to Telemakos but it was easy to trust her, as Medraut had told her his darkest secrets. After a while arguing with his head, he decided he'd continue speaking for Telemakos, his son, his sunbird.
Medraut took Telemakos out for hunting. He tries to talk more and make interesting comments but Telemakos simply stares at him every time. Since Medraut can tell something is wrong, he decides to come back earlier than planned.
When they got back Medraut went to his room to figure out what he had done wrong and Telemakos wandered around the castle until he finds Goewin. She tells him that Medraut is trying to be what he never was before.
What have I done now? thought Medraut. Had he ruined the chance to talk to his son? He was about to decide not to talk again when Telemakos burst into the room saying "I'm so sorry! It's just that it felt too strange! But now I understand that you talking to me is what I've always wanted. Please, Medraut... Dad."Medraut held Telemakos in the air, smiling: Let me be the father you deserve to have." Telemakos smiled too. It had all been worth this.
