  • Act 1, Scene 3:

  • Act 1, Scene 5:
  • Anthony was denied three times by Caesar to receive the crown. 160#%
  • In this scene, Flavius and Marullus take down the decorations from Caesar's statue because they don't support him, and they asked a commoner why they are celebrating him. This is important to the plot sequence because this scene begins to show some of Caesar's doubters and those that don't truly have his best interest.
  • Act 1, Scene 6:
  • Give him the letter, that will be the first step towards our plan
  • In this scene, Brutus vents to Cassius expressing whether or not Caesar should be king. Cassius views this as an opening. This scene is important because 160#%
  • Act 2, Scene 2:
  • Casca informs Brutus and Cassius that Caesar rejected getting crowned by Anthony three times.
  • Act 2, Scene 2:
  • You have to go Caesar, they will mock you  and may reconsider their decision if not.
  • In this scene, Casca and Cassius met to contemplate how they should kill Julius Caesar. 160%#
  • Calpurnia had a dream that the people of Rome were bathing their hands in Caesar's blood and begged him not to go out that day.
  • In this scene, Decius persuades Caesar to attend the ceremony. He also told Caesar that the senators were ready to crown him as king and that they would reconsider their decision and mock him if he didn’t go.
