- It is both a celebration of one’s ancestors, with whom many believe they can communicate during those events, and an acceptance of death as natural and inevitable rather than as something to be feared
- Mexican culture is influenced by traditions because they are ancient traditions that have more meaning than they may seem
- Many of the nation's cathedrals include baroque paintings, and for centuries most art in Mexico was religious in nature. Mexican baroque painters prized realism and dark colors
- This aspect of cultural identity impacts the population’s worldview by seeing how Mexican art has differed or stayed the same in centuries.
- Altogether, they speak more than 60 Indigenous languages and dialects. Major Indigenous languages include Maya, Mixtec, Nahuatl, Otomí, Tarascan, and Zapotec
- This aspect of cultural identity shapes Mexican languages because Mexico doesn’t only have 2 languages, it has many other indigenous languages that came from other regions but are still related to each other.
