  • I, John Adams, only have federalists on the judicial bench and thats how I like it.
  • Before any democratic-republican became president, Washington and Adams only had federalists on the judicial bench.
  • The election of 1800, also known as the revolution of 1800 happens and both sides are mudslinging eachother.
  • You are so dumb. I will win this election easily! Vote for me, John adams!
  • This is no election, this is a revolution for the people! Vote for me, Thomas Jefferson, before things get out of hand.
  • Madison would not deliver his commission as a justice of peace and William Marbury sued. This is a very important ruling because it will set the tone for the judicial branch for the rest of American history.
  • Sir, I, James Madison, will not deliver the commision!
  • In that case, I, William Marbury will sue!
  • I, Thomas Jefferson, Swear to blah blah blah. Now.. about those seats in the judicial branch........
  • I, John Marshall, declare that the act madison is choosing to do is illegal. I can not stop him from doing it though.......
  • The supreme courts ruling was that what madison was doing is illegal, but they said they could not do anything.
  • Yippee!!
  • Phew! I got out of a tough one there, didnt I.
  • Marshall was able to chastise the jeffersonians while not creating a situation in which a court order would be flouted.
  • In conclusion, Marbury Vs Madison established the principle of judicial review (the power of the federal courts to declare legislative and executive acts unconstitutional) So that we, as Americans, can live better and free once more.
