- The conflict in this scene was if Lyddie was gonna decide to give Ezekiel the calf money. She had to make a decision in this scene which shows Character vs Self.
- In this scene, a bear came to the cabin and Lyddie got everyone in the attic safely so they could hide from the bear. This is Character vs nature because she is having a conflict against the bear that came into the family’s cabin.
- In this scene, Mistress Cutlers finds out Lyddie left and fires her. The conflict in this scene is Character vs Character because she had a problem with the Mistress and got fired.
