- Me Ponce de Leon was born in 1460 or 1474 to a noble family in Santervas de Campos my mother was Aldonza de Leon, and she was the daughter of king Alfonso lX of Leon. In my early life I served as a page at the court of Aragon and fought against the Moors in the final stages of the Spanish Reconquista before joining Christopher Columbus’s second expedition to the Americas in 1493.

- I went on many voyages but my own voyage in 1513 led to Florida. The trip was funded by myself using my fortune and resources.But King Ferdinand did encourage me to do these trips and he appointed me to be the governor of Puerto Rico.I grew up learning Roman Catholic Faith. I needed money so I could have enough food for my men on the ship and pay for the repairs in case anything happens to the ship and for many resources for the long voyage.

- Three ships for the voyage and 65 crew members.Corn, salt pork, cassava bread, oranges, seeds and plants, water. I need swords,firearms and arrows and other supplies like livestock, seeds, tools for gold mining on board for the ship and priests to convert to locals.
