- Hello Olivia! How're you doing? Ready to go to the nuclear power plant?
- Hey, Benjamin. I'm doing ok. But the electricity keeps going out. We had a blackout again yesterday, lasted 3 hours this time, before the electricity came back.
- Again? That's the third time this month! Have you ever considered solar panels or something?
- I did, but honestly, the government should really revive that nuclear power plant in central city.Anyway, the electricity we'd get would be more powerful and be cheaper too.
- While that is true, nuclear power is pretty much a double edged sword. Sure we'd get a better power source. But think about the environment, the costs andeven its renewability!
- Yes. That's right!
- The world has a lot of potential fuel and power sources, each with their own pros and cons. Fossil fuel for example, is stable and reliable butnon-renewable. Nuclear power on the other hand, is much more powerful but much more dangerous.
- Come on, let's finish our coffee already. We have to get to the power plant on time.
