- Rights of Consumer as per act is Right to Safety, Right to choose, Right to be heard, Right to be informed, Right to redress, Right to healthy environment, Right to basic need, Right to consumer education.

Hence it is necessary to educate them their rights as a consumer to make them vigilant, rational and aware buyers. The government has been fruitful in providing protection to the consumer in the real sense of the term and served the purpose of the Act.
