- Immediately after I was born my mother had converted to christianity and she was no longer with my father. So ever since I was young, through whatever, it was always me, my brother, and my mom
- My mom always did her very best to put me in good schools with exceptional learning environments, which made me appreciate and actually enjoy learning and school as a whole .
- Although my mom and dad were no longer together, they took the co parenting routes and always compromised when it came to me. I was well aware that not everyone had parents like mine , so I've always been appreciative of them and all they do
- My elementary school environment was very beneficial and not only did it allow me to see how other view me it was the kick start of how I viewed myself.
- Middle School was a very different experience for me. It was a predominately African American school, students and staff.So the environment was very different .However, the four years I spent there definitely prepared me for highschool.
- Now, a sophomore at Girard College. I am learning so much academically, socially , and spiritually. With goals such as, staying my authentic self , staying focused, and always being able to say I did my best.
