Your time has come to an end my friend.
After the king told Beowulf he needed to kill Grendel, he went back to finish the job.
I've never known fear, as a youth I fought in endless battles. I am old now but i will fight again, seek fame still.
Beowulf ran into Grendel's mother first and decided to kill her.
After killing Grendel's mother , he then went and killed Grendel right in his den.
50 years later Beowulf was faced with another challenge, a dragon came and tried to destroy his home, but even while Beowulf was old and frail he fought the beast.
While fighting the dragon all of Beowulf's men ran out on him all except for one, Wiglaf stayed and fought the dragon with Beowulf until the battle finally came to an end, and slaying the dragon Beowulf received severe injuries that he wouldn't recover from.
This dragon's treasure, his gold and everything hidden in that tower, will be mine. Or war will sweep me to a bitter death.
As Beowulf laid there as his life slowly left his body, his last wishes were that his gold be buried with him, and that his name shall always live on with great glory, and that Wiglaf take over his place as king.
Take what i leave, Wiglaf, lead my people, help them, my time is gone.
