- Due to tussles between Germany and the soviet union and its allies. Germany surrendered to their enemies ending world war II. They also decided to surrender due to the fact that Adolf Hitler had killed himself.They were doomed without a leader so that's also why they surrendered because the fact they had not bodied to give them orders.
- The united states and the soviet union had an alliance during the war. They realized that they had some of the same enemies and decided it was best to work together and try to work together to take down certain enemies. They each needed each other to defeat the common super dangerous enemy.
- The Manhattan Project was a top-secret government project to create the first nuclear weapons. It was thought out by the united states with the support of the united kingdom and Canada. Most of the work was done in Los Alamos. This project was started in fear of what German scientists were eventing nuclear weapons to eliminate their enemies.
- The bomb was dropped on japan on august 6, 1945, which was the first atomic bomb to ever be dropped on enemies. The bomb was sent because of the fact that the united states want to end the war. It is estimated that the atomic bomb killed over 80,000 people that day. The bomb was unessecary.
- The target was appointed by president harry Turman to launch the bomb. Americans knew the risk at hand of dropping the bombs but still did because of the fact they wanted to end the war. Americans were planning which city they wanted to bomb by choosing and looking at the options. Nagasaki was bombed because it was one of the best options for the bomb to be placed because of the population amount and how it was a port city.
- One of the main reasons Japan surrendered was because of the bombings. The bombings weren't the main reason though because the Japanese were planning to surrender soon anyway because of the bloodshed. They also surrender because they knew it was over because of the fact that America's allies were invading. So Japan knew they were over with and after the bombing, it made it even more of a reason to surrender.
