- We were used to seeing Johnny being all banged by his father but not like how the socs did..
- On chapter 1 page 5 a soc jumps ponyboy and threatens to cut all his hair off. The theme would be violence
- In chapter 2 page 22 Ponyboy tells cherry valance about the time the Socs jumped Johnny badly to the point it scarred him for life.
- YASSSSSS
- In chapter 4 page 56 a Soc named Bob and his gang jumps Johnny and Ponyboy. Bob drowns Ponyboy but before he blacks out Johnny stabs Bob killing him instantly.
- Chapter 9 page 138 The greasers and Socs have a big rumble where the Greasers win.
- Chapter 9 page 148 After the rumble Ponyboy and Dally go to the hospital to visit Johnny where he tells Ponyboy to stay gold and then passes away. He had been badly burnt after saving children from a burning building but being stuck inside afterwards.
- Chapter 10 page 153 After Dallys visit he runs out into the night and robs a store. He gets the police chasing after him and ends up pulling a gun on them and they are forced to shoot him. He did this because Johnny was the only thing Dally loved.
