- At first glance, a Lemon Tree Hotel appears similar to lots of other hotels. step inside and you soon realise that this is no ordinary hotel. Lemon Tree has been hiring people with a wide variety of disabilities and building a truly inclusive workplace since 2007, and the results are impressive.
- Mukesh, this kind of marginalization we face is so infuriating. We are deprived from work opportunities. In fact, the unemployment rate for specially abled people is over 70% people don't realize that people with special needs tend to be more creative.
- Yes Anna. Sadly, we've had to overcome hurdles in our life and to negotiate to make our place in life. This if nothing has made us more solution oriented. Truth be told, deaf employees have highly attuned observational skills. We notice small movements, so in a busy setting, we may be more attentive to customers’ needs.
