- I'll swim to the island
- Help!!!
- Maybe there are other hunters on this island
- I hope someone is home because it is cold out here
- Rainsford and Whitney are sailing by Ship Trap Island. Whitney goes to bed and Rainsford is on the deck and is smoking. He drops his cigar into the water and triesto save it and falls into the water. Whitney was asleep so she didn't know that he fell off of the boat and heard gunshots. He decided to swim towards the island.
- I hunt more than big game
- You above all people why would you ever want to do that to humans
- When he gets to the island he is so exhausted that he sleeps until the sun comes up. When he wakes up he sees footprints and blood . He decided to follow the footprints to wherever they led
- The footprints have brought him to this big castle. He knocks on the door and is greeted by a big man that has a gun pointed to Rainsford's chest. When General Zaraoff comes down stairs and immediately recognizes Rainsford. Rainsford thought that he was a normal person at first.
- Well that wasn't any fun I didn't even get to kill him
- Rainsford found out that Zaraoff likes to hunt big game but then Zaraoff told Rainsford that he got bored of hunting big game so now he hunts humans. Rainsford is shocked that he would ever think of wanting to hurt innocent people like that. Zaraoff tells him how he lures them into the island and how he gives them a knife and a whole island to hide on while he gets to have his way of fun and hunt the people.
- Zaraoff gives Rainsford 3 choices and he would either team up with him and kill other people, he would have to play his 3 day game, or he would be ripped apart by Ivan. So he was forced to play Zaraoffs game. Rainsford made a path and trail all the way around the island and hid somewhere where the path wasn't to throw off Zaraoff. Immediately Zaraoff found him but didn't want to kill him so he laughed and walked away.

- On his last day of being alive Rainsford killed one of Zaraoff's best dogs and he killed Ivan. The remaining dogs and Zaraoff chased Rainsford to a cliff and he jumped off of the cliff. Zaraoff thought he died and was upset that he didn't get to kill him.
