- The day started as any other day. The sun is shining and the birds are chirping. The school children ran out of the bus with excitement and cheer to start the first day of school. One kid was really excited to start the day, it was their first day at school in California, little Billy and their closest friend Kris.
- As they walked to their class, all the kids were talking and heading to class as the bell rang. Billy heard fast footsteps coming behind him.
- As soon as Billy turned around, BOOM, someone had pushed Billy to the ground. They had laughed at the clothing that Billy was wearing. He was wearing something that their parents had worn to represent their culture.He got up and quickly tried to get the kid's attention, but they had already turned the hall. He walked into class so confused as to what had happened.
- As Billy got to class and sat down, he saw something from the corner of his eye. It was the kid that had pushed him. Billy stood up and asked the kid why he had pushed him. The kid continued to laugh at Billy saying that he looked silly.
- Billy had experienced someone like him before, just not so mean. So Billy started to explain why he was wearing such strange clothing. And explained his culture to the kid. After explaining everything from beginning to end the kid apologized to Billy and said that he was interested in Billy’s culture and would love to learn more about it.
